By accessing or using YKI Ready("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Terraglance Limited, registered in Finland and Nigeria. These terms are governed by Finnish law.

YKI Ready is an AI-powered Finnish language learning platform that helps users improve their Finnish through text analysis, grammar annotation, vocabulary tracking, and YKI exam preparation tools.

The Service includes:

• Text annotation and grammar analysis using AI
• Vocabulary bank and word form generation
• Daily Finnish language tasks from public sources
• YKI exam preparation exercises and feedback
• Writing feedback and grammar correction

You must create an account to access most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe are being used fraudulently.

The Service is offered in two tiers:

Free tier — limited to 1 text paste per day and 20 saved words. Access to daily Finlex tasks. No payment required.

Pro tier — unlimited pastes, unlimited saved words, full YKI Exam Coach, writing feedback, and all current and future Pro features. Billed monthly at €12/month or annually at a discounted rate.

We reserve the right to change tier features and pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.

We offer a 14-day refund for new Pro subscriptions if you are not satisfied. Contact us at hello@kielio.com within 14 days of your first charge. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by Finnish consumer law.

All prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service at scale
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Service to generate content that infringes third-party intellectual property
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access restrictions
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates any applicable law

The Service uses AI (including Anthropic's Claude) to generate grammar explanations, exercises, feedback, and other educational content. This content is provided for educational purposes only.

AI-generated content may contain errors. Finnish grammar is complex and AI analysis, while informed by Voikko morphological data, may occasionally be inaccurate. We recommend verifying important grammar rules with authoritative sources.

You retain ownership of any text you submit to the Service. By submitting text, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

The Service includes content fetched from Finlex.fi (Finnish legislation database) and other open public sources. This content is used under their respective open licences. We do not claim ownership of this content.

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.

The YKI Ready name, logo, product design, and all original content created by Terraglance Limited are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our written permission.

The Voikko Finnish morphological analyser is used under its open source licence. Anthropic's Claude API is used under Anthropic's API terms of service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.

YKI Ready is an educational tool. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing the YKI exam. Exam outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, Terraglance Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Finnish courts.
